About Us

What real leadership and organisational culture looks like…

Now, more than ever we need a different kind of leadership - one that brings commercial imperatives and people together. Throughout Chris’ unique and extensive career, his focus has always been on the individual, and the creation of the optimal environment for every person to be their best, whether they be an executive, a new hire or anyone in between. Do that and not only our people, but our companies, thrive.

Staff On Side. Where Management, Engagement and Mental Health intersect, for a lasting culture.

From Australia and New Zealand, to Japan, Singapore and Vietnam, he has established leading staff programs - but with a very big difference. Traditional engagement programs simply don’t work. Money doesn’t work. Prizes don’t work. If we think we need an engagement program, then we really do have a cultural problem. We need true organisational culture - changers. Our companies deserve more, our leaders deserve more, and our staff certainly deserve more. Businesses and organisations are more than groups of people, more than teams - they’re  communities. We may have the best hardware and the best software, but without considering our people and their real needs and wants, we’re holding ourselves back.

We don’t have to.

No gimmicks, no prizes, no pep talks, office challenges or incentive schemes. It’s always, always about relationships: the manager-staff relationship. If we don’t get that right first, anything else is just a band aid.

Let’s talk about how to get it right, and watch the difference.

Let’s work together to bring your Staff On Side.

Testimonials…

Thank you… for organising today’s BAPS talk with me on mental health and productivity, and most of all for Chris for his personal, insightful, humbling and yet intensely practical talk tonight.

Never in my history of BAPS have I seen such a diverse audience of 30 spellbound and in awe for what was possibly the best and longest BAPS talk this year. There were so many take home points, from working more closely with EAP providers to ensure that they understand the unique professional and work backgrounds of our employees, to truly listening without judgement to our colleagues, and even if they are angry or indifferent, to acknowledge that is their best attempt with dealing with the stress in their loves.

….it was truly an electrifying night! I was so pumped that I totally forgot that I didn’t eat dinner, there was so much for thought and Chris was a gifted and talented speaker who grabbed our attention the whole time with his quiet yet engaging manner and most of all his personal stories.

I have found Chris’ approach to leadership through emotional intelligence refreshing and inspiring. Chris presents emotional intelligence leadership and mentoring techniques with natural flair, demonstrating a commercial acumen that intuitively helps define and identify organisational values.

Chris educates organisational leaders in the capacity to tap into human potential in a caring manner leading to greater staff retention and satisfaction. He demonstrates through his vast experience how to tap into individual discretionary effort whilst fostering a culture of stepping up. I have found Chris is able to connect people and their personal values and experiences in a holistic manner fostering a collaborative approach that an organisation as a whole can learn and grow from. Chris reminded me that an organisation is the sum of its employees and their experiences. There is power in recognising that each individual reaches a point where they want to be more than just their job and when an organisation looks after their employee’s mental health and capacity, then they harness that collective knowledge, experience and self-motivational power that they don’t just grow as an organisation from but become innovators, inspiring others to do better, be better.
